Dentsu Aegis Buys Digital Agency Leapfrog Online

Marcoms network Dentsu Aegis has acquired digital agency Leapfrog Online, which offers a range of data integration, performance media, conversion optimization and predictive analytics solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Rob HorlerLeapfrog was founded in 1995 and is based in Evanston, Illinois. The firm specializes in real-time marketing intelligence based on the analysis of performance and consumer behavior. Its LFX Conversion Platform connects the consumer journey, to uncover insight to drive media buying strategies and target real-time, relevant consumer experiences.

The firm will join Dentsu Aegis's digital division iProspect, to expand the latter's ability to deliver real-time personalization throughout the entire path-to-purchase, and help brands use the data they are already collecting to drive omni-channel conversions. As part of the deal, Leapfrog co-founders CEO Dave Husain and President Scott Epskamp will lead the integration of Leapfrog's marketing technologies into iProspect.
