Dentsu Aegis Buys Personalisation Agency Accordant

In Australia, Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired data-driven customer experience and personalisation agency Accordant. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Steve Knowles and Scott KingCo-founded by Steve Knowles and Scott King in 2014, Accordant is an Adobe partner with expertise in using data to target, personalise and optimise customer experiences in both paid and owned media. Services include web site and mobile content targeting, analytics and reporting, insights, data management, and segmentation and profiling.

Accordant (not to be confused with Accordant Media, which Dentsu Aegis acquired last year) will partner with Dentsu Aegis companies to offer a suite of data-led marketing capabilities, while retaining its branding. Commenting on the acquisition, Knowles said: 'This move reflects the passion of our people as well as the value of data, personalisation and marketing technology. We currently work with many of the region's leading brands and are thrilled about the new opportunities that will present now we have the support and scope of Dentsu Aegis Network'.
