In India, Majestic Research Services and Solutions (MRSS) has appointed veteran researcher Indroneel Dutta as Vice President, Client Servicing, responsible for the company's FMCG vertical.
Founded in 1992, MRSS specialises in multi-country studies, and offers access to focus group suites across major cities in India, Asia, and the Middle East; along with eye tracking, usability testing and perception analyser services. Three years ago, the firm formed a joint venture called SA#M with Frankfurt-based Scent Analysis, providing a multi-sensory research platform for projects in all areas of product and concept development.
Dutta (pictured) joins after thirteen years at International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF), latterly as Regional Marketing and Consumer Insight Director, Asia. Earlier, he held senior positons at (Kantar) TNS, JK Tyre & Industries, IMRB International, and Godrej & Boyce. Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Raj Sharma said: 'With his extensive experience in consumer insight and marketing both in the Indian and global context, we are confident that Indroneel will take MRSS India to greater heights in the days to come'.
