Attest Adds Two to London Team

May 5 2017

In London, survey platform Attest has hired former Vizeum exec Chrissy Totty as Insight Champion, with a remit to help clients understand consumer motivations and behaviour; and has appointed Mark Walker as Marketing Director.

Chrissy Totty and Mark WalkerAttest was founded in mid-2015 with a £1m seed investment, launched out of beta a year later, and secured a £3.1m round of funding last month. Its SaaS platform enables users to deliver surveys to any audience who respond using the firm's proprietary mobile and web app, and then analyse the results in real-time. Users can choose from more than 40 demographic filters, or add their own screening question to reach the required audience. While the solution is currently only activated for a UK audience, the company plans to add further regions soon.

Totty previously spent five years at media agency Vizeum, most recently as Head of Innovation. Prior to this, she was Senior Strategist with goodstuff communications, an Account Director at MindShare, and she worked in media recruitment. Walker joins from ticketing firm Eventbrite, where his title was Head of Growth. Earlier, he was the Editor of swotnot and his own firm WeLiveContent; founded online video aggregation platform Xavy and held senior positions at Clarion Events and eyeforpharma.

Commenting on the appointments, co-founder Jeremy King said: 'We're bringing new people, new technology, atypical skills and new diversity into the world of research. It's potentially much-needed, and we're doing it to help brands become even more intelligent about customers, with ever-increasing efficiency.
