[m]PLATFORM Names Bullis Global Chief Strategy Officer

WPP's audience intelligence and activation solution [m]PLATFORM has promoted Jenny Bullis to Global Chief Strategy Officer, with a seat on the platform's global executive committee. She will move to the new role over the next few months.

[m]PLATFORM was formed last year, when WPP's media investment arm GroupM brought together all its data, analytics and digital services into a new suite of products. The solution is supported by a team of data scientists, technologists and digital practitioners from across GroupM specialist companies and Xaxis, WPP's audience profiling and targeting division. The solution also connects WPP data sources across Kantar and Wunderman, third-party data providers, GroupM's data from agreements with media partners; and clients' own data when they choose.

Bullis (pictured) previously led WPP's digital agency Essence in London as CEO for EMEA, before which she was MD of Omnicom Media Group's data and analytics firm Annalect. Earlier, she served as Director of Media at ITV, Head of Media and Marketing Operations at Sainsbury's, Head of Media at BT, and Marketing Manager at Virgin.com, in addition to holding media planning roles at Starcom.

In her new position, Bullis is charged with creating the strategy for the global roll out of [m]PLATFORM, while playing a central role in ensuring clients are able to apply data-driven insights to their communications campaigns. She reports to Brian Gleason, Global CEO of [m]PLATFORM, who comments: 'Jenny brings an incredible mix of experience running digital-first business, data and media ecosystems as well as a passion to drive transformation in our industry. She will bring a unique perspective as we broaden our engagement strategy across the globe, and I am thrilled she is joining our team'.
