Marketer 5by5 Buys Sightline Research + Strategies

Brentwood, Tennessee-based marketing agency 5by5 has acquired MR company Sightline Research + Strategies, its long-time partner.

Mark McPeak5by5, many of whose clients are medical, religious and charitable institutions, was founded in 2014 and the acquisition is its first. Sightline founder Mark McPeak (pictured), a 25-year industry veteran, joins 5by5 as Vice President of Research and Organizational Strategy. He worked originally in automotive market research community and also brings executive non-profit management experience. Clients of Sightline include the Tennessee Titans, Duracell, Gideons International and Zillow - as well as many of 5by5's customers.

5by5 CEO Shannon Litton says her firm always 'leads with strategy first' and has therefore 'always valued market research in its strategic process'.
