Shopper Behaviour Specialist Hamilton Bright Acquired

Sales and marketing outsourcing provider Advantage Smollan has acquired Netherlands and Belgium-based Hamilton Bright Group, a specialist in shopper purchasing behaviour and marketing. Terms were not disclosed.

Claudio MissagliaHamilton Bright's marketing intelligence service covers areas such as category management, field research, space management and mystery shops; and its SmartSpotter app enables users to check how their products are presented on the shop floor, while simultaneously measuring the impact of their in-store marketing activities.

Advantage Smollan - which is a joint holding company between sales and marketing agency Advantage and field marketing specialist Smollan - said in a statement that the acquisition extends its reach to the Netherlands and Belgium, providing a unified solution for customers in these countries. Hamilton Bright CEO Claudio Missaglia (pictured) comments: 'Hamilton Bright has a strong history of success in improving retail sales in the consumer electronics, body and healthcare, and food sectors. We believe that as part of Advantage Smollan we will continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients and to increase the opportunities for our people'.
