Digital Ad Bodies Bring Legal Counsel In-House

In the US, trade body the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and its spin-off the IAB Tech Lab have hired former Lowenstein Sandler LLP Partner Michael Hahn to serve as their SVP and General Counsel.

Michael HahnHahn is known to the groups having handled various legal matters for them over the past five years. His remit will include antitrust compliance, intellectual property rights, and general corporate and contractual matters, and he will serve as an advocate for the digital advertising industry on legal matters affecting members of both organisations.

His considerable experience combines competition law and intellectual property. At Lowenstein Sandler he was Vice Chair of the Antitrust Practice Group, providing strategic counsel around competition, distribution, intellectual property and governance issues to clients in sectors including advertising and tech, higher education, consumer and pharmaceuticals. He is currently Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Antitrust Law Committee, and was previously on the Advisory Board of the American Bar Association Antitrust Section's Civil Torts and RICO Committee. Hahn holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, M.P.P. from Georgetown University and J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
