Collaborata Names Resnick and Hoskins Board Advisors

In Chicago, online MR crowdfunding platform Collaborata has appointed former ORC MD Jeffrey Resnick and Quester President Tim Hoskins as Strategic Advisors to its Board of Directors.

Collaborata was launched last year by, father and son Peter and Jimmy Zollo, to bring together clients who have similar research needs to collaborate on projects. Clients post details of their projects on the site, then other clients help shape the projects through their comments. Research suppliers, who are rated on the site by clients, bid on those projects using a specially designed 'wizard', and once a vendor is selected, a funding goal is established together with a timeline, and co-funding begins.

Resnick is currently Managing Partner at Stakeholder Advisory Services, which helps identify, measure, monitor and manage reputational risk using an enterprise risk management framework. Before this, he spent a decade at ORC International, where he held several roles including Global Managing Director, Innovation and Strategy. He also served as Board Chair of CASRO (now the Insights Association) in 2012.

In addition to leading linguistic research and technology firm Quester, Hoskins is a Board member of the Insights Association, where he also co-chairs the Corporate Researchers Conference. Prior to Quester, Hoskins spent six years in sales at Palisade Systems.
