Insights Association Forms International Chapter

July 28 2017

US-based research body the Insights Association has formed an International Chapter, to provide member companies and individuals operating outside the country with enhanced service and support. This is the association's twelfth chapter, and its first outside the US.

David AlmyFormed earlier this year through the merger of US market research associations CASRO and MRA, the Insights Association says that at least 150 of its member companies already operate outside the US, and almost 250 individual members are based outside the US. The creation of its International Chapter builds on the global network the association already enjoys through its involvement with the Global Research Business Network (GRBN). In addition, the association has proposed that members of the Alliance of International Market Research Institutes (AIMRI) join the new initiative.

Like its sister Chapters in the US, the International Chapter will host informational and networking events, while serving as a conduit through which members can learn about developments that could impact their global marketing research and analytics work. It will have its own forum in the Insights Association's Engage online community, enabling information sharing and collaboration among members.

David Almy (pictured), CEO of the Insights Association, comments: 'It's increasingly ordinary for our members to think and work globally. Providing them with a network experienced in international markets, legal and business issues such as cross-border data transfer will be a key benefit'.

Members of the Insights Association may join the International Chapter via an e-mail request to membership@insightsassociation.org .
