Marketing services group Omnicom has appointed LBi founder Luke Taylor as Chief Executive Officer of its customer relationship management (CRM) arm, the Precision Marketing Group.
Precision Marketing Group is part of Omnicom’s DAS (Diversified Agency Services) group of more than 200 companies, which includes ad and brand research specialist Hall & Partners, as well as speciality PR, healthcare, CRM, events, promotional marketing, and branding agencies. Taylor (pictured) joins from DigitasLBi, where he served as CEO, having previously been CEO of LBi, prior to its acquisition by Publicis.
In his new role, Taylor will work with several DAS Group agencies, leveraging existing Omnicom technology and data platforms, such as Annalect, and developing strategies for internal investments and acquisition. He will report to DAS Group Chairman and CEO Dale Adams, who comments: ‘Luke comes to DAS with significant, hands-on leadership experience in the agency world, especially in digital marketing and technology. He has a keen understanding of how marketing communications is evolving and a strong commitment to excellence in client service.
