New Leaders for LiveRamp as May Moves to Group Role

September 14 2017

In the US, enterprise data and analytics company Acxiom has named James Arra and Anneka Gupta as co-Presidents of its customer data 'onboarding' business LiveRamp. They replace Travis May, who is moving to the newly created role of Chief Growth Officer for Acxiom.

Travis May, James Arra and Anneka GuptaLiveRamp unlocks data from CRM systems and other applications, and integrates these off-line sources with online data. Arra, who was previously LiveRamp COO, will now lead client strategy, including brands, agencies, data providers, platforms, and publishers. Gupta, who was previously LiveRamp's Chief Product Officer, will now oversee the product, engineering, marketing, and general / administrative functions.

May co-founded LiveRamp in 2012, and led the teams responsible for product management, business development, customer implementations and recruiting. In his new cross-divisional role, he will oversee Acxiom's growth strategy, and support the company's product and business development efforts. He will also dedicate a portion of his time to an outside business venture.

Acxiom CEO Scott Howe comments: 'Travis May has been an outstanding leader and deserves a lot of credit for all he has accomplished as co-founder and President of LiveRamp. I look forward to working more closely with Travis to identify future growth opportunities across the broader Acxiom portfolio. At the same time, I am very excited to announce the appointments of James Arra and Anneka Gupta as co-Presidents of LiveRamp. They are the natural successors to lead this business, and I am confident in their ability to drive LiveRamp forward'.
