Growth for One Minute to Midnight

UK based researcher One Minute to Midnight has promoted Charlie Richards to the board, and appointed Shelley Pestaina, Kerstin Bickelmann and George Maguire.

Charlie Richards, Shelley Pestaina, Kerstin Bickelmann and George MaguireLaunched last year in London with a mission to 'put the understanding of humans and their values at the centre of everything they do', the company cites growing demand from a range of clients including PlayStation, Kenwood, Sony Music & Visit England. The firm's name is based on the well-known fact that, 'if you plot the history of the world on to the 24-hour clock, humans arrived at one minute to midnight'* - and all its job titles are prefixed with 'Human &' - insert passim below.

Richards joined the company from Tonic Insight New York in 2016 following the latter's sale to LRW. He joins the board as Strategy Director, alongside co-founders Douglas Dunn and Paul Laver, and Non-Executive Directors Justin Wright and Nick Pye of Mangrove Consulting.

Pestaina takes the title of 'Head of Sizzle' and leads the creative department. She worked as a freelance web designer before joining the London Communications Agency as in-house Graphic Designer.

Bickelmann joins from London-based Sundance Brand Agents, where she spent two and a half years, and will work as a Strategist; while Maguire is a recent Anthropology graduate from UCL who worked as a marketing Intern at WellFed Food and is now Insight Executive.
