Kantar has now been selected initially to research more than 1,500 TV viewers in 400 families, in cities with populations of over 200,000. From the third year, the panel of households-participants of the study will increase to 550 families in cities with a population of more than 100,000 people.

Commenting on the reasons for the launch of the initiative, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Asadjon Khodjayev said: 'Now it is necessary to understand how much the television market of our country is ready for large-scale reforms. It is important to get clear answers to the questions: what is the viewer watching today, which TV channels attract them, how interesting is the TV show? This will allow us to assess the effectiveness of the funds allocated by the state for the support and development of television'.
