Dentsu Aegis Buys Indonesian Marketing Firm

Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired Indonesia-based performance marketing agency Valuklik and its analytics subsidiary Pinnacle, for an undisclosed sum.

Cleosent RandingEstablished in 2012, Valuklik focuses on data-driven performance marketing solutions, large-scale enterprise level SEO, digital transformation, and data and analytics across 'all' digital media channels - search, social media, programmatic media and performance content. Following the acquisition, the firm will merge with the group's search and performance marketing division iProspect and be re-branded as iProspect Valuklik; while the analytics unit becomes iProspect Pinnacle.

Based in Jakarta, Valuklik employs more than 55 professionals, and has clients across sectors such as travel, telecom, media, e-commerce, insurance and FMCG. Following the acquisition, founder Cleosent Randing (pictured), will serve as Chairman; and Director Rahul Nambiar as CEO of iProspect Valuklik, overseeing the growth and operations of the merged business. Both will report to SK Biswas, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network Indonesia, and join the country leadership team.
