In the US, media intelligence and communications specialist Cision is to acquire measurement and analysis specialist PRIME Research for an undisclosed sum.
PRIME provides real-time monitoring and analysis across digital, print, television, radio and online channels. It also covers major social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Cision CEO Kevin Akeroyd says adding PRIME's media monitoring and analysis capabilities to his firm's portfolio will improve clients' ability to measure earned media ROI, and better align their campaigns with paid and owned channels.
