Remesh Expands US Team with Five New Hires

In the US, MR software firm Remesh has appointed five new members of staff, including former Hall & Partners exec Noele Emmons as Sales Director.

Noele EmmonsHeadquartered in New York and founded in 2014 by a team of ex-Googlers, academics, physicists, consultants and political operatives, Remesh has developed a survey tool that uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing to gather, filter and rank the collective opinion of crowds in a conversational format. Last year, the firm raised $2.25m in a seed funding round, which it is using to further develop its AI technology and expand its development and research teams.

Emmons (pictured) joins in Seattle from brand and communications research consultancy Hall & Partners, where as Director, West Coast Operations she built and developed key client and agency relationships across two business units. Prior to this, she worked for insurance data tech firm FlexMinder as Director, Sales and Client Services; after six years at Lightspeed, the last four as Account Executive - East and West Region.

In New York, Emma Borochoff joins as the firm's first Marketing Director, after more than five years at software platform Bizzabo. To help with client management, Bertram Byam has taken up the post of Customer Success Manager, joining from AT&T where he was a Solutions Architect. Nicholas Tietz-Sokolsky previously worked as a software engineer at startups in both Silicon Valley and the Midwest, and joins as a Senior Software Egineer with a focus on scaling the company's machine learning systems. Finally, Mike Varga, who for the last five years has been working towards a PhD in computational physics, joins as a Data Scientist working on natural language models.
