In the US, YouGov's sports and sponsorship specialist SMG Insight has hired former Repucom / Nielsen Sports execs Georgie Webb and Victor Gras. Webb joins as Senior Account Director in San Francisco, while Gras joins the New York office as Senior Director of Market Intelligence.
SMG Insight was launched by former Comperio Research VP Frank Saez in 2010, and later the same year, YouGov acquired a stake in the business. Webb joins from Nielsen Sports, where she served as Senior Account Director for the past nearly two years. Before this, she worked for Repucom as Senior Product Manager and then Senior Account Director. To date, she has worked with many high-profile brands across the auto, tech, apparel, logistics and tourism industries, helping them to justify and optimize their sponsorship investments.
Gras also joins from Nielsen, where he led market intelligence activities across all US verticals, working with brands, rights holders and agency clients and leading global sponsorship database Sponsorglobe for North America. Before this, he was Repucom's Senior Manager, Market Intelligence, and he led sponsorship research for the New York Runners.
