RhythmOne's Bussell Named MD for ANZ

San Francisco ad tech firm RhythmOne has promoted Luke Bussell to the newly created role of Managing Director ANZ, based in Sydney.

Luke BussellRythmOne offers fully integrated, cross-screen solutions for video, rich media, display, social media and native advertising formats. Last year, the firm acquired online video advertising and targeting firm YuMe, and it has since merged its own analytics, data management platform and brand safety technology with the latter firm's data-driven audience insights, first-party data management and targeting platform. It also acquired social media ad targeting firm RadiumOne, last summer, giving it access to consumer insights, audience segmentation and targeting technology, as well as a presence in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Bussell (pictured) joined last year as Director of Sales and Client Service, having previously held the same title at RadiumOne. Earlier, he held senior roles with Brand New Media and Southern Cross Austereo, having begun his career as an Account Manager at Informa. Commenting on the promotion, Chief Revenue Officer Michael Hudes said: 'In Luke, we're lucky to have a seasoned professional with the depth of media and commercial sales experience. He has the leadership skills to drive an expert team around him and we're excited by the opportunities that the Asian Pacific region as a whole provides our new end-to-end programmatic offering, so I look forward with confidence to this next phase of growth'.
