Chris Shaw Named First RealityMine COO

In the UK, mobile research technology firm RealityMine has promoted Director of Operations Chris Shaw to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer, leading product development and overseeing project management operations for the company.

Chris ShawFrom UK offices in Manchester and London, and a base in Sydney, Australia, RealityMine provides individual level mobile usage data via the RealityMeter data collection tool. So far this year, the firm has introduced a product called RealLife Profiles, which provides a daily summary of passively collected data on individual panellists; and RealLife Media Players, allowing customers to view more granular, detailed video consumption behaviour on an individual basis, on any sample and any device.

Shaw (pictured) joined in 2012 as Business Intelligence Developer, focused on productising passively captured mobile behavioural data and tailoring it to the needs of the research industry. Since then he has developed, grown and directed the company's operations strategy. In the last quarter of 2016, Shaw took on responsibility for twenty operations staff involved in project and product design.
