Euromonitor Expands to Hong Kong

Global business intelligence and market analysis specialist Euromonitor International has opened an office in Hong Kong, its fourteenth location worldwide.

Headquartered in London, Euromonitor publishes international market reports, business reference books and online databases on consumer markets. Agilson Valle (pictured) has been named General Manager in Hong Kong, having previously been the firm's Key Client Consultant - Global Accounts in London. He joined Euromonitor two years ago, having previously served as Business Development Director at the Global Career Company, working with clients in the African and Middle Eastern Markets; and for Mintel, as an Account Director for the Iberian market and later Sales Director for the European team.

CEO Tim Kitchin says the expansion not only addresses the growing demand in serving long-term customers, but also strengthens the company's research in Hong Kong with analysts on the ground. He comments: 'We're excited to be establishing a presence in Hong Kong, just a few months after opening a new office in South Korea. Both new offices demonstrate our commitment to growing in Asia as well as our desire to support customers locally'.
