Malatesta Named First President at Codewise

AI-powered ad exchange Codewise, which develops online ad measurement and optimization platforms for digital marketers, has promoted former Socialbakers CMO John Malatesta to the newly created role of President.

Codewise's flagship advertising technology platforms include Zeropark, a performance traffic exchange, and Voluum, a campaign tracker with an integrated native advertising demand-side platform. The firm is headquartered in Krakow, Poland, with offices in London and Santa Monica, and employs 200 individuals.

Malatesta joined in January as Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer. His 22-year background in the software industry includes previously working for social media analytics firm Socialbakers as CMO and EVP Telesales and E-Commerce, before which he held senior roles at Shneider Electric, Kaspersky Lab, Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Accenture. In his new position, Malatesta will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction and management of all Codewise departments and for the full P&L; while continuing to serve as the firm's Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer.

He reports to Robert Gryn, CEO and owner of Codewise, who comments: 'The exponential growth of Codewise's revenue, pioneering new innovative technologies and the progressive expansion into new geographies now calls for the deployment of a state-of-the-art operational management structure.
