US data collection firm Focus Pointe Global (FPG) has partnered with video intelligence software provider LivingLens to launch a tool called FPG Video Capture, gathering video content, images and audio from respondents using their mobile devices.
The LivingLens platform extracts data from multimedia content, for analysis in an intuitive user interface. In addition to capturing video through the mobile app, the platform can add video questions to quant surveys as an alternative to open-ended text question types. Custom video showreels highlighting insights are created within the platform and can be shared across client organizations, with video content stored in a cloud-based library.
Laura Livers (pictured), CEO of FPG, says the new solution will allow her company to deliver additional value to clients and help to 'bring their research to life', revealing what people think, do, and feel and allowing users to reach respondents at any time, regardless of location.
