dunnhumby Hires for new Global MD, Media Role

In Germany, Tesco-owned customer data science platform dunnhumby has hired former Zalando exec Jérôme Cochet for a new role, Global Managing Director for Media.

Jérôme CochetThe Media business combines dunnhumby's data science, media capabilities and partnerships, to help retailers and brands plan and assess their marketing activities. Based in Berlin, Cochet (pictured) joins from online fashion platform Zalando, where he held several roles, including MD of Media Solutions. Earlier, he worked for McKinsey.

Cochet joins following the recent appointment of former Google Media exec Julie Jeancolas as Global Head of Media Partnerships; and former Criteo exec Alexandre Cotarmanac'h, as Global Head of Product Media & Customer Engagement. CEO Guillaume Bacuvier comments: 'Jérôme's experience and leadership will shape the strategy of our media business and accelerate our plans for global growth. I'm also delighted to welcome Julie and Alexandre on board. Julie's experience of working with agencies, partners and consultancies will be a huge asset to the business, and Alexandre's excellence in product and engineering will play a pivotal role in developing our media offering and technology architecture'.
