Comintelli Hires Former Ericsson Director

Swedish market and competitive intelligence software provider Comintelli has appointed Ericsson's former Director of Competitive Intelligence Ingemar Svensson, as Senior Advisor.

Founded in 1999 as a spin-off from Ericsson, Comintelli sells software which converts unstructured big data into organised information for decision-making. The firm's Intelligence2day solution automatically collects, organises, analyses and shares information focused on customers, competitors, products, markets, technologies and trends.

Svensson (pictured) joins from Ericsson AB, where he was most recently responsible for competitive intelligence work across several business units. This involved analysing and disseminating insights on industry trends and players, as well as creating and running a competitive intelligence training program. Prior to this, he spent ten years with the firm in Latin America.

In his new role, Svensson is tasked with providing customers with intelligence on their business landscape and become more competitive by mapping industry players, analysing why deals are lost, and pressure testing product strategies before market launch.
