YouthSight Restructures, Promotes for MD Roles

November 7 2018

In the UK, specialist MR agency YouthSight has restructured its business into two divisions: Insight; and Panel and Data Services - reflecting customer needs. The two divisions will be led by Josephine Hansom and Tatenda Musesengwa, respectively.

Josephine Hansom and Tatenda MusesengwaFounded by Ben Marks in 2004, YouthSight offers research among the youth, student and young professional sectors, and owns and runs the OpinionPanel youth research access community which currently has 150,000 active members. Hansom takes on the role of MD of the Insight division in charge of a team of eleven researchers, having previously served as Director of Youth Research; while Musesengwa moves up from Client Services Director to MD of Panel and Data Services, with a team of ten. Fieldwork services - both qual and quant - together with a suite of data services, will be sold through the Panel and Data Services division, while YouthSight's research consultancy services will be available through the Insight division.

Marks, who becomes CEO as part of the restructure, comments: 'Although we've done well recently - we've enjoyed over 20% annual growth for the past two years - there's always been a small amount of a confusion as to whether we're a panel or an insight consultancy. Well, the answer is, we've always been both. We hope this restructure makes this clearer and easier to understand for current and prospective clients. And, importantly, more efficient for us to operate, too'.
