Isentia Hires Chief Product Officer

November 30 2018

Media intelligence firm Isentia has continued strengthening its C-Suite with the appointment of Jen Marshall as Chief Product Officer, responsible for product development and technology innovation across its Asia Pacific markets.

Jen MarshallIsentia lost its MD and CEO of eighteen years John Croll earlier in 2018, and in July announced that former Yahoo7 boss Ed Harrison would fill his shoes. CFO James Orlando left the company and last month the executive leadership team was further boosted by the appointments of Paul Russell as CTO, Kelly Young as CHRO and Peter McClelland as CFO.

The latest recruit, Marshall (pictured) is currently CEO of training and consulting firm Brainmates, and will join Isentia in early January. Early in her career she led teams and produced 24/7 news at Sky News in Australia and the UK, then moved to Optus Digital Media to work as a Category Manager. Before Brainmates, she worked as a Product Director at media major Fairfax for four years. She holds an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and a BA in Communication in Broadcast Journalism from Charles Sturt University.

Quoted on www.mumbrella.com.au, Harrison says Marshall is 'a seasoned professional with deep expertise in product development and brings with her a lot of passion for delivering real value through technology and superior service'. He adds: 'Her appointment comes at an important time for Isentia as we continue to put in place a strong leadership team that will be critical to our future success. Product development and innovation are big priorities for Isentia as we deliver to the increasingly complex needs of some of the biggest brands around Asia Pacific'.
