New HR Leader for Toluna and Harris Europe

December 10 2018

ITWP, the holding company which owns Toluna and Harris Interactive Europe, has appointed Alida Cesani as Human Resources Director for EMEA, based in London. The move reflects the company's substantial growth plans for 2019 and beyond.

Alida CesaniToluna was founded by current CEO Frédéric-Charles Petit in 2000, and grew through the acquisition of Greenfield Online in July 2009 from Microsoft. Major shareholder Verlinvest set up ITWP in 2011 as a vehicle to take Toluna private, and it has since added Harris Interactive, acquired from Nielsen in 2014, and Shanghai-based KuRunData, acquired in January this year.

Cesani will lead people strategy for both Toluna and Harris Interactive and work with leadership teams across the region to drive people strategy. She joins from Oakam, where she was Head of HR, and before that was HR Business Partner at IG, driving the 'People Agenda' for sales and operations in the US, the UK and elsewhere in EMEA. Earlier, she served as Human Resources Manager at Doka, working on multinational HR projects as well as heading up the Italian HR function. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences from the University of Milan and is a Certified Master in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and SHL Occupational Testing.

Paul Twite, ITWP MD for Europe / MENA, comments: 'Alida's success in working in fast-paced, multicultural environments was a great fit for the ITWP brands. The investment in an HR Director for EMEA will make sure our people strategy is put at the centre of everything we do. Investing in our teams is a key part of delivering our substantial growth plans in 2019 and beyond'.
