Tech-focused B2B marcoms agency DWA, which is owned by Dentsu Aegis Network and lists market research, data, measurement and analytics among its services, has appointed Rob Gold as UK Managing Director, based in London.
Acquired by Dentsu Aegis a year ago, DWA focuses on providing clients with ad tech, real-time insight and management decision support for a range of media including programmatic, search, social media and demand generation. Since its acquisition, DWA has been expanding the B2B offering of data-driven consumer insights and analytics specialist Merkle, and the business has been re-branded 'DWA, a Merkle company'.
Gold (pictured) was most recently Managing Partner at Publicis-owned Zenith UK, where he worked for the past nearly twelve years. In his new role, he will provide strategic leadership and counsel to the agency's B2B and technology clients. DWA CEO Bob Ray comments: 'In this growing market that has a thirst for data-driven advertising, we are excited to bolster our UK operations with a leader like Rob at the helm.
