Dynata Gets US Patent for Graphing System

February 28 2019

Dynata - until recently known as Research Now SSI - has received a US patent for its automated graphing system, which will improve both the accuracy of profiling data and the quality of the respondent experience.

Kalyan RamanDynata says the patented solution operates across its proprietary routing, delivery and profiling network and was developed to ensure data in the profiles of tens of millions of opt-in study participants is accurate, complete and current. The system also avoids the need for participants to answer long and duplicated profiling questionnaires, because it asks for specific information only when the required data is incomplete or has expired.

The solution examines relationships between objects in a set to identify data missing from an individual profile that is relevant to research studies seeking participants. It performs its tasks in real time, and can accommodate thousands of individual participants simultaneously.

CTO Kalyan Raman (pictured) comments: 'This patent demonstrates our commitment to innovation so that our clients have the best possible data to support critical research. At the same time, it streamlines the research experience for individuals, providing a more engaged sample. Finally, by asking for only specific and targeted updates, it discourages fraud. It truly is a win-win-win'.
