Basis Hires Leader for European Health Practice

London-based full service insights consultancy Basis has appointed Georgie Cooper as a Partner, leading its European Health practice.

From offices in London, LA and New York, Basis delivers bespoke ad hoc and tracking solutions for clients across sectors including media and entertainment, retail, financial services, FMCG and fashion, promising to help them make sense of 'both big and thick data'. Cooper (pictured) joins with a fifteen-year background in the healthcare and insights space. Most recently, she was Marketing Director and UK Commercial Lead of ViiV, a pharmaceutical company specialising in the development of therapies for HIV infection that was created as a joint venture by Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). She was previously a Business Partner at GSK, before which she worked agency-side as Research Director at Hall & Partners; and as Senior Business Analyst at strategic management consultancy Propagate Pharma.
