Cardlytics Hires Former Facebook & Google Man

Purchase intelligence platform Cardlytics has appointed former Facebook and Google employee Nate Bucholz as VP of eCommerce advertising partnerships.

The firm, which has received huge injections of funding, partners with more than 2,000 financial institutions to run their banking rewards programs, using purchase intelligence to make marketing more relevant and measurable; and uses the data itself to analyse where and when consumers are spending their money, offering the resulting insights to marketers for targeting and measurement purposes.

Bucholz worked most recently as industry lead for eCommerce and global marketing solutions at Facebook. Before this he spent ten years at Google, most recently as Head of Industry Branding / CPG in southeast Asia; and earlier oversaw advertising sales and partnerships for retail and travel, negotiated strategic deals with external partners, and collaborated with marketing, communications, and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
