Intuit Buys Analytics Firm Origami Logic

In the US, self-service marketing analytics company Origami Logic has been acquired for an undisclosed sum by business and financial software company Intuit.

Mountain View, California-based, Origami Logic, which last year raised $15.2m in a financing round, creates performance analytics solutions combining data visualization, big data analytics and other data science technologies.

Commenting on the deal, Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi (pictured) said: 'As we enter our next chapter of transformation, having a strong data architecture lies at the heart of Intuit's strategy to deliver valuable insights to our customers. This acquisition will accelerate Intuit's ability to organize, understand, and use data to deliver personalized insights that help customers quickly achieve success and build confidence whenever they use Intuit products'.
