Glisser Opens West Coast Office in Portland

In the US, audience engagement software provider Glisser has opened a West Coast office in Portland, Oregon, where it plans to hire new staff for its sales, marketing, client success and development teams.

Glisser, which also has offices in London; New York; Mississauga, Canada; Auckland, New Zealand; and Utrecht, Netherlands, offers software which is used to share event presentation slides with delegates' devices in real-time. The software then uses audience interaction - Q&A, polling, live quizzes, social media feeds, private notes etc - to improve the attendee experience and, measure event ROI, and to provide event analytics. Through Glisser's polling features, delegates can vote or ask a question, providing a deeper understanding of the audience's needs and the impact of an event. In addition, the firm's Event Engagement Index provides event organizers with a single metric to analyse engagement levels.

According to the firm, the new Portland office extends its US presence, giving the team easier access to large scale event hubs such as San Francisco, Las Vegas and Seattle.
