WPP Buys UX / UI Design Specialist AQuest

WPP has acquired a majority stake in Italian digital creative agency AQuest, whose services include user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, production and activations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Fabio MerlinMilan and Verona-based AQuest's team of more than 70 people includes data scientists, digital marketers, social media specialists, art directors, video makers and developers. As part of the deal, AQuest will act as a 'point of reference' for technological innovation for WPP clients. The firm will continue to be led by its co-founder and Creative Director Fabio Merlin (pictured).

Massimo Costa, WPP Country Manager for Italy, comments: 'The acquisition of AQuest is the confirmation of the importance WPP places on technology to strengthen growth in Italy and the world'.
