US research and MR training company Burke Inc. has promoted Tara Marotti to the role of Chief Client Officer (CCO), succeeding Diane Surette, Burke's President and CEO-designee.
Employee-owned Burke combines research and analytics to support clients across all major industry sectors, and provides MR and consumer insights education through The Burke Institute. Marotti (pictured) joined 24 years ago as a Project Manager, and has since held a number of roles, including most recently SVP, Head of Client Services.
She takes over from Surette, who joined the company in 1996. CEO Jeff Miller comments: 'The CCO role has become increasingly important to our relationship with clients. It has allowed us to foster deeper collaboration and improved communication flow between account teams and clients. We now have more quality touchpoints and can consult with more synergy on research and insights, helping us to provide greater value to our clients'.
