FlexMR Launches Numerical Data Tool

July 29 2019

British-based tech-led insight agency FlexMR has launched 'NumbersMR', which analyses numerical data from a range of sources including surveys and member database fields and is billed as the first in a comprehensive line of analysis tools.

Maria TwiggeAvailable from today, the tool stores results and outputs in a central repository for instant access or re-use at a later date, and can produce simple tables, crosstabs and banner tables as well as graphical representations of data. A central library of tables and graphs can be accessed at any time, scanned for previous research on a topic, and used to combine previous data with results from a new project.

FlexMR says the tool's user interface is pitched to appeal to less specialist marketers and DIY users, but also to provide 'the depth that experienced researchers seek'. It promises continuously enhancements over the next two years including new data manipulation options, graph types and analysis functionality, as well as new capabilities for its InsightHub to incorporate specialist text, image and video tools.

The launch follows the announcement a month ago of a line of 'Empowerment services to help research teams embed and promote the role of insights across departments.

CTO Neil Bartley says researchers with NumbersMR 'can not only analyse survey data in real time, but construct a library of knowledge that is constantly growing'. Research Director Maria Twigge (pictured) comments: 'Our clients face the challenge of balancing research quality with internal pressures and demands for faster results on a daily basis; as the pace at which decisions are taken accelerates. By innovating in the analysis space, and enabling our clients to access new efficiencies - we hope to take some of this stress away, so they can focus on what they do best: quality market research'.
