In the US, sensory and consumer product research specialist Curion says it has appointed thirty-five new employees this year, supporting rapid growth and the launch of three new services.
Formed with the merger of Q Research Solutions and Tragon Corp., the Deerfield, IL-based company hired a new CEO just under a year ago, Sean Bisceglia (pictured), and has since launched sensory products insights platform eFive; product and packaging optimizer S2P; and real life environment product test Life Labs.
Headcount has grown fastest in the Sales, Analytics and Marketing teams, while at senior level the company has brought in Kevin Coleman in February to head up eFive, and in April Michael Garibaldi for the dual role of COO and CFO.
According to Bisceglia, 'Curion is moving in innovative directions very quickly... With our services for our customers expanding and the increasing number of industries we are serving, our internal staff needs to be broad-based and stacked with leaders in all areas of concentration. We have hired outside of our industry to add invaluable insight and perspective as Curion continues to evolve'. The new arrivals include professionals from Fortune 500 firms including leading data companies and airlines.
