Publicis' Rauxa Hires SVP, Data Intelligence

In the US, Publicis Media-owned full service, data-driven marketing agency Rauxa has hired Alberto Botero as Senior Vice President, Data Intelligence.

Alberto BoteroRauxa employs a team of more than 300 creators, technologists, scientists and practitioners at its offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Orange County and Dallas. Botero (pictured) joins in New York from Omnicom ad agency TBWA, where he served as Head of Analytics and Data Science. He previously worked at marcoms agency FCB Global as VP of Analytics, before which he was Director of Analytics at WPP-owned shopper marketing agency Geometry Global. Earlier, he worked at Interpublic digital agency R/GA, Publicis-owned ad agency Digitas, NBC Universal and full service agency Latinvox.

At Rauxa, Botero will lead the 'innovation agenda' around the sourcing, analysis, collection and interpretation of new and existing data. He will report to Gina Smith, President and CEO, who comments: 'Alberto has an exceptional ability to leverage data in innovative ways, helping major brands to derive business value from their strategic investments in media, creative and technology. We're excited to have him join the team and play a leadership role in our continuing data-driven marketing revolution'.
