Experience Design Buy for US Firm Bounteous

February 7 2020

Digital experience agency Bounteous has acquired The Archer Group, whose services include consulting on digital strategy, experience design and usability research.

Michael DerinsPrivate equity-backed Bounteous helps clients develop and execute strategies for digital transformation, and maximise return from their technology investments. The firm was founded in 2003 in Chicago, and its expertise includes strategy, experience design, analytics and insight. Buying The Archer Group, which is located close to Philadelphia in Wilmington, DE, will add depth to Bounteous' services and augment its talent base: it will now boast more than 500 strategists, designers, analysts and technologists across offices in Denver, Pittsburgh, Toronto, San Francisco and Berlin, in addition to the two HQs.

Michael Derins (pictured), CEO and MD of Archer since 2011, will join Bounteous as EVP of Business Development and will also serve on its Board of Directors. He comments: 'We've dedicated the past seventeen years to designing meaningful experiences that inspire action and have created long-standing partnerships, growth, and value for some of the world's largest brands'. Bounteous co-founder and CEO Keith Schwartz says the combination will give the company 'award-winning technology skills in industry-leading marketing and experience platforms, unparalleled analytics and data science capabilities to optimize digital marketing and media campaigns, and the creative and design skills that can deliver the 'wow' factor'.
