FlexMR Upgrades SurveyMR Tool

February 28 2020

Tech-led market research agency FlexMR has released a new version of its SurveyMR tool, adding flowcharts and workflow functionality to make it easier for users to 'understand, program and take part in surveys'.

FlexMR Upgrades SurveyMR ToolThe company provides a mix of qual & quant tools in one place, enables marketing teams to maximise return on research budgets. Last summer, it launched a tool for analysis of numerical data from a range of sources including surveys and member database fields, 'NumbersMR'.

The new tool is one of ten that can be added to the end-to-end InsightHub research platform. SurveyMR 2.0 removes complex, paginated interfaces from the design process, and uses a survey scripting interface with a shared language 'familiar to both researchers and other business stakeholders' to help align teams and improve survey accessibility. Following a flowchart approach, new questions, forms and routing options can be dropped onto a central canvas, while logic is added through dragging connectors between nodes.

The tool is currently in Beta and will be gradually rolled out to existing FlexMR clients as it is continually developed over the next 18 months. CEO Paul Hudson comments: 'We've worked incredibly hard to design a survey tool that simplifies complex interfaces, makes research more accessible and breaks down departmental silos. Our clients will benefit by being able to take surveys to field quicker, and design engaging participant experiences with greater control than ever'. Senior Software Developer Dave Russell adds: 'The team focused on intuitive interaction with flowcharts, empowering marketeers to create surveys at a pace demanded by the industry. Our leads on the project took a human-first approach to development. We want that to mean the software is on your side. That you can work in a way that feels natural to you. That you can script surveys in any order you choose, and have the freedom to change your mind at any time'.

The company is online at www.flexmr.net .
