FourthWall Integrates Nielsen Smart TV Data

June 2 2020

TV analytics specialist FourthWall Media has unveiled a new tool called Adapt, allowing users to onboard linear, addressable and digital campaign data; and has added Nielsen's Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) data from Smart TVs to the cable STB data in its Reveal analytics platform.

Ellen DudarThe moves will extend the firm's audience-based analysis of content and advertising across a wide range of viewing platforms. Adapt enables users to onboard data from sources including linear as-run logs, addressable exposure files, and digital impression data, and analyze them together to give holistic campaign performance analytics. These include Tune-In Reporting, Optimal Frequency Analysis, and Attribution for any custom or syndicated audience segments.

The Nielsen data will be added to second-by-second set-top box data already within the Reveal platform, giving the company 'a unique opportunity to fuel Reveal with two carefully-curated datasets covering different viewing modes', according to FourthWall Chief Product Officer Ellen Dudar (pictured). She concludes, 'All the ingredients necessary in automating cross-platform media analytics are now brought together within Reveal'.

Nielsen SVP Product Leadership Matt Reid adds: 'With Nielsen Smart TV data as one of the components that helps fuel FourthWall's Reveal platform, marketers will have more robust and actionable analytics to identify their audiences across viewing platforms in a seamless and efficient way'.

FourthWall Media is headquartered in Dulles, VA and is online at www.fourthwallmedia.tv .
