Senior Hires for Prescient

Biopharma product strategy consultancy Prescient Healthcare Group has added three senior members of staff: Gordon Gochenauer, Dr. Priya Kar and Dr. Cameron Mackenzie.

Prescient has been a portfolio company of Baird Capital since 2017, and includes the Prescient Advisory division, which works with biopharmaceutical clients to support the development and execution of asset strategy and brand plans.

Gochenauer joins with more than fifteen years of dedicated oncology experience in market research and competitive intelligence, including roles at Kantar Health, AlphaImpactRx (now part of IQVIA) and Psyma International. He holds an MBA in market and strategy from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. In his new role, he is responsible for expanding the firm's presence in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas and for supporting team professional development.

Kar also brings fifteen years of healthcare experience, focused on commercial and clinical insights and strategy development. She earned her PhD in molecular biology from the New Jersey Medical School and her MBA in pharmaceutical management and marketing from Rutgers Business School. She will focus on driving growth within Prescient's Intelligence & Insight business, managing key business accounts and providing strategic leadership.

Mackenzie's fifteen years of experience are from the pharma and biotech industries. He holds a PhD in biophysical chemistry from the University of Glasgow, an MSc in chemistry from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA from Strathclyde Business School. At Prescient, he will be responsible for leading engagements with new and existing clients and helping answer their strategic business questions.
