Merkle RMG Names Kent Grove President

December 1 2020

In the US, processing and fulfilment firm Merkle Response Management Group (RMG) has promoted Kent Grove as President, replacing Phil Yamamoto, who held the role for a matter of months after the promotion of Bill Sayre to CEO in March.

Kent GroveRMG, a subsidiary of data-driven performance marketing agency Merkle, combines direct response processing, customer care and fulfilment solutions with insights for clients across the non-profit, government and commercial sectors. Grove (pictured) takes on the new role after fifteen years at Merkle RMG, where he most recently worked in a business development capacity, having previously been VP, Client Engagement for twelve years. In this latter role, he helped establish RMG's customer service strategy. Earlier, he held various management positions at Hyatt Hotels.

As President, Grove replaces Yamamoto, who held the role for a few months from June, following Sayre's promotion. As president of Merkle RMG, Grove is charged with enhancing the company's service offerings within the non-profit sector, and will establish a three-year roadmap for growing the business's service offering and strengthening client satisfaction.

Sayre comments: 'Kent has been a valuable member of the Merkle RMG team for fifteen years. His broad knowledge of the business and our clients, and his outstanding leadership skills make him an excellent fit to lead the organization. 2020 has been a challenging year for all of us, and Kent will undoubtedly have a positive impact on all facets of our business moving forward'.
