Research on Mobile Moves to Programmatic Sampling Model

January 20 2021

In Paris, France, consumer insights business Research on Mobile (ROM) has replaced its ad hoc, sample-only and panel building solutions with an API and programmatic sampling model, offering the automated buying and selling of sample.

Nader KobeissiFounded in 2018 to understand how consumers use their mobile phones, ROM says its new focus on programmatic sampling will provide instant access to deeply profiled data. Using the firm's sample API (application programming interface), clients can link their company to all customer data through their existing project management system or marketplace.

This connection provides 24/7 access to ROM's 80-country consumer panel portfolio, which the firm claims provides 'more accurate audience selection, more reliable data quality and results, faster survey fielding, and more robust project feasibility'. According to ROM, this automated process reduces manual entry and human errors, while creating a single and more consistent data source.

Co-founder and CEO Nader Kobeissi (pictured) explains: 'Sample exchange platforms/marketplaces fit perfectly within the vision we have of both our business model and of the future of the MR industry as we see it. We are putting a lot of thought and energy into making sure the respondent journey is smooth and pleasant to boost both conversions and quality of responses. It wasn't just a no-brainer to concentrate our efforts in this direction; it became integral to our mission as an organization.'
