White Ops in MRC Accreditation First

Bot attack and fraud prevention specialist White Ops has announced it is the first company to receive Media Rating Council (MRC) accreditation for end-to-end coverage against Sophisticated Invalid Traffic (SIVT) for desktop, mobile web, mobile in-app and Connected TV (CTV).

New York-based White Ops protects global enterprises and Internet platforms from digital fraud and abuse, and currently verifies the accuracy of 'more than ten trillion' interactions per week. The firm's bot mitigation platform uses a multi-layered detection methodology to spot and stop sophisticated bots and fraud by using technical evidence, continuous adaptation, machine learning and threat intelligence.

The firm's new MRC accreditation includes the first ever endorsement for pre-bid detection and mitigation of SIVT, for its Advertising Integrity product (the solution formerly known as MediaGuard) across all platforms, including CTV. Through Advertising Integrity, platforms can access pre-bid prevention and post-bid detection capabilities to verify the validity of advertising across all channels. The firm has also been granted continued accreditation for post-bid detection within its Advertising Integrity offering (previously known as FraudSensor), which has been accredited by MRC since 2016.
