Mystery Shopping Alliance Expands

The International Mystery Shopping Alliance (IMSA) has expanded its coverage to include North America, the Baltics and Pakistan, creating a combined panel of almost 500,000 mystery shoppers.

The Alliance, first announced in September 2003 (see DRNO, www.mrweb.com/cgi-bin/drnofrmr.cgi?ppNum=2610 ), will soon be joined by similar specialist mystery shopping companies in other parts of the World. Five North American companies are now working in partnership with the seven member companies covering all of Europe, and a partner in Pakistan, making IMSA 'the largest Mystery Shopping organisation in the world', according to the newsletter of its UK representative ESA.

ESA was recently revealed as the fastest growing of the top 20 agencies in the BMRA table with a 35% year-on-year turnover increase and has announced major contract extensions from many of the country's leading retailers.
