Funds for Optimization Platform Sellforte

In Finland, AI-powered marketing optimization platform Sellforte has raised EUR 4m in a funding round, which it will use to hire specialists to scale R&D, and continue its European expansion, with plans to open new offices in Germany soon.

CEO and co-founder Juha NuutinenBased in Helsinki, Sellforte uses proprietary data science and AI to continuously measure the effectiveness of marketing investments and generate recommendations for growth - both online and off-line. The platform brings together disparate sets of internal and external marketing data, and then uses models to calculate comparable ROI for every marketing investment across different channels and campaigns.

New funding has been led by Sonae IM, with participation from Bonnier Ventures and Icebreaker.vc, bringing the total raised to date to EUR 4.5m. Dajana Mirborn, Investment Director at Bonnier Ventures, comments: 'The investment ticks many of the boxes in what we look for, it is a high-performing platform solving a significant problem with global potential backed by an excellent team'.
