New Funds for Call Center CX Platform ASAPP

May 21 2021

ASAPP, an AI company focused on call center customer experience, has raised $120m in a Series C funding round, which it will invest in expanding its existing Customer Experience Performance (CXP) platform.

Tim StoneASAPP builds AI-based products which are used by call centers to help staff understand what to do and say in real time during phone calls. Its models constantly learn from conversations, while for web chats, the platform offers staff multiple potential responses. Resulting data from these interactions can be used to gain insight to inform business decisions, including spotting themes and trends.

New funding has been led by new investors Fidelity Management & Research Company and Dragoneer, along with existing investors John Doerr, March Capital, Emergence Capital, Euclidean Capital, HOF Capital, Telstra Ventures and 40 North Ventures. This brings ASAPP's total funding to $400m and doubles the company's valuation to $1.6 billion from its Series B financing a year ago.

ASAPP COO and CFO Tim Stone (pictured) comments: 'This Series C financing will enable ASAPP to increase investment in its AI Native, Customer Experience Performance (CXP) platform, that helps global enterprise customers drive differentiated customer experiences, revenue, cost reductions and automation designed to support employees in customer service and sales'.
