ListenFirst Launches Social Media Tool

In New York, social media analytics provider ListenFirst has launched a feature called Instant Insights, which uses machine learning to show how brands perform across social media and benchmark that performance.

Jonathan FarbListenFirst captures social media signals and combines them with complementary sets of data (such as sales and web analytics), analyzing thousands of brands across billions of consumer interactions over many years. Earlier in 2021, the firm launched competitive tracking and industry benchmarks for video-sharing site TikTok.

The new Instant Insights tool has been developed to quickly provide analysis of content, earned sentiment and industry benchmarks, in one view. The company says the tool's automated approach gives users time to understand the story behind raw data, generating insights on their screen that would have previously required the manual efforts of a trained analyst. Through natural language processing, Instant Insights instantly identifies the key takeaways, and users then have access to reports to share with colleagues and customers.
